It's a...

boy!!

We are SO excited...  especially Navy!!  Oh, and yes we have a name, but no, we are not telling anyone until  he's born!  Gotta have some element of surprise, right?  :o)

Thanks for going on this journey with us!  We can't wait for you all to meet him!

Oh, and here's a fun recent Navy comment:
          (during his bedtime prayers)

"God, please let our baby be a boy, and not a vegetarian!"
(and no, we have NO idea where that came from!!)  :o)

We'll post the ultrasound pics and some new belly pics soon.  We love you all!

check back...

tonight for the news!!

We are on our way to the appointment this afternoon, and will post here tonight with the news!  :o)  Baby's moving away, ready to be seen I hope!  I think he or she might be almost as excited as I am today!

4 days...

...until we (hopefully!) find out if it's a boy or a girl!!  :o)

Keep watch for an update this weekend with the news!

thoughts and movement...

He's a mover and a shaker!

(And yes I said "he" but not because i know anything...  I just think it's a boy.   We'll find out if I'm right in less than 2 weeks!)  I felt him move for the first time 2 weeks ago (election night actually!), and he has been getting more and more active every day since!  It definitely makes this whole pregnancy feel more real, that's for sure.  Every time I feel a little kick or roll, it reminds me that I am indeed growing a baby inside, and not just getting fat!  :o)  I am also convinced that he has already found and is thoroughly enjoying his first toy...  my bladder!  I don't suppose that is going to get any better until he's out, so I guess I'd better get used to it.

So yes, I think it is a boy.  And that seems to be the general consensus so far.  What do you think?  Andrew and I would love to have a girl, but Navy is determined to have a little brother, so maybe he has been praying more and louder than we have?!  :o)  We'll find out the day after Thanksgiving (assuming baby cooperates!) and let you all know soon after!

Oh and another interesting tidbit...  apparently a baby on the way can make a very independent non-affectionate cat all of a sudden become all cuddles!  Seriously, I am thinking of changing his name to Mr. Cuddles, because he won't leave me alone!  And  I'm sure he's already gotten some pretty good kicks from baby, because kitty thinks he needs to lay on or as close to my stomach as possible at all times...  and he weighs over 15 lbs!

So, check back in about 2 weeks for some fun new information!  We can't wait to find out what we're having and to tell the world!  :o)
