I just thought it would be fun to show you what things look like around here when I take a step back from the actual food shot.

Disclaimer: I am definitely not a professional photographer (and I don't have a professional camera!)... but I have learned that it doesn't take a whole lot more than good food and great lighting to get the shots you want!
My food photography rules, in a nutshell:
TURN OFF THE FLASH, get close to a window... and get close to your food!
